Hi.

Welcome to my blog. Please join me in my journey to overcome infertility.

Summer

Summer

Summer is my least favorite season because of the heat. I can not stand anything hotter than 80 degrees. When you blast the air conditioner at home every summer, you still get surprised on how much the electric bill is. It shouldn’t be a surprise because the air conditioner is on 24/7 and I’m the one that turns it on at my place. When I use to live with my parents, I didn’t dare to turn the A/C because I’m not the one paying the electric bill, so I remember laying on my bad with a fan blowing on me.

What I do love about summer is being in the water. My parents always took us to the local pool in my neighborhood when I was younger and I loved it! I love to swim. I love to snorkel. I love to surf.

Since my husband and I postponed our IVF process because our the egg retrieval overlapped with our Hawaii trip which was so disappointing, we will still plan to make the most of it. We plan so many outdoor activities to keep our mind off things. We even went to Las Vegas last weekend for a 3 day conference, but my husband took one of those conference days to take me to our hotel pool because he knows any activity in the water is my favorite thing to do.

It was wonderful. It was a day I didn’t think about IVF or how infertility is taking over our lives. My husband is so supportive with my feelings and he knows what to do to keep me happy.

I’m leaving for Hawaii today. I am thrilled. Usually when I come back from Hawaii I would feel a little depressed because our Hawaii trip is over, but not this time. Once we end our Hawaii trip, our IVF adventure starts!

I can not wait to use my pool float this week!
