Perfect Timing
First, let me apologize for the blurry cover photo for this blog. We tried making a YouTube of our first unboxing, but it was a total fail! Funny, but also a fail!
For those of you who have been following my blogs, you know that we have been fighting with Amazon for a couple weeks now.
Here is a recap for those who are new. So my husband and I have created a baby brand, Smiling Pea. We decided to start this side business to keep our mind of things and to keep busy. We didn’t want to be reminded about our fertility issues so we wanted to create baby products that we would use on our own baby. Organic fabrics, fashionable designs, etc. This took over a year. From all the legal fees to create a business to picking out our designs and even finding the right supplier who would do anything that we ask. So when our product went live on Amazon, it was so exciting. Something we both can do together.
Anyway, off to the problem areas. So when we had 1000 units shipped to amazon, we had 500 girls and 500 boy burp cloths. The person who was working on our product had put the wrong labels. So the people who were buying our product got the wrong product which led to negative reviews and a lot of returns. Even though we had invested a ton of money, we had to put our products as inactive until this issue got fixed. They quoted us 120 days.
So as you can see this title of my blog, “Perfect Timing.” I know it’s Gods way of saying don’t stress right now. Leave it up to him. The first day of my IVF journey was the day Amazon had resolved their mistake. So glad to say that our products are up and running! I can finally be stress free during this fun and exciting time of my life. I can focus on living a healthy life. Now I gotta figure out how to shake this caffeine migraine. Day 2 and I miss COFFEE! But that’s a different blog!
