Gender Reveal

Gender Reveal

We are having a little girl!!

We were going to wait to announce the gender, however a lot of people have been bombarding us with the question, “so are you having a boy or a girl?” Each time someone asked, we felt more excited to share the news, however we didn’t feel like it’s the right time.

Some of you already know the gender because I’ve been careless using pronouns in my blogs. I would be using the word “she” or “her.” I’m really thankful for all the people who actually DM’d, messaged, and texted me to let me know, so I can change it before the whole gender reveal gets ruined.

I’m glad only a few people caught it because we had so many gender reveal ideas. My husband and I wanted to do an outdoor gender reveal on Facebook live or IG live, however we never got around to doing so. We were going to share the news on July 4th, however things came up for that weekend. Can’t say what exactly, but I’m super excited! Just know we will practice safe social distancing.

Back to the gender. Most of you already know my husband and I conceived by doing IVF, which allowed us to get our eggs tested for any abnormalities. With doing that, we were allowed to have our genders revealed to us. We had 4 amazing embryos which were 1 girl and 3 boys. You might be wondering how we were able to pick which egg we were going to implant. We implanted the egg with the best quality. The girl embryo was an AA grade, meaning the egg was flawless. The boys were also great, but they were graded as AB embryos. Not as good as AA, but still great quality. My husband and I always dreamt about having a little girl as well so it worked out for the best. We would still be over the moon if the male eggs were best quality as well. All we are asking and praying for is a healthy baby.

Our little Peanut the poodle is also excited to have a little sister. She’s been trying to put her nose inside my belly button. She even noticed her room has changed into a little nursery. My husband has been shopping on the Carters website and buying all the cute outfits he can find.

We also went to buy buy baby and shopped for the nursery when we were only 6 weeks pregnant. It was kind of daring to shop so early just because of our history, but we knew we had a whole army of people praying for us and we knew God would provide because he knew this is what we needed.

So now you know Baby Mac is a little girl! In about 14 weeks she will make her arrival and we couldn’t be any more excited!
